Welcome To The Clendon Park School Learning Community
As a school we work in a strong partnership with our community to ensure that our students can achieve the best possible holistic outcomes. As a Health Promoting School we provide a safe, peaceful and very supportive environment for all students. Our very skilled and dedicated team of teachers have a strong focus on providing a well balanced academic, social, cultural and sporting curriculum for all students, including those with special learning needs. Standards and expectations of our students' achievement is high. These targets and goals are developed in partnership with our community.
Our school provides opportunities for students to learn in strong, very successful Maori and Samoan bilingual units. The outcomes for these students has been their strong sense of pride, their consistently high levels of academic achievement and their capacity to take on leadership roles in their contributing schools.
All our students enjoy and are really engaged in their learning. Regular hui, fono and Home/School Partnership meetings provide forums for our community to discuss ways of supporting their child at home and to share their wishes and aspirations about what our school curriculum should include. This partnership is very much valued and has resulted in student achievement being significantly raised.
In partnership with our community we have developed the following strategic goals for students:

- Clendon Park students will be empowered, inspired, students who will take increasing control of their own destiny.
- Clendon Park students will develop a strong sense of hauora which includes the dimensions of taha wairua, taha hinengaro, taha tinana and taha whanau.
- National Standards and Nga Whanaketanga Rumaki Maori are used effectively to support improved progress and achievement in student outcomes.
